Welcome to motherhood! Newborn’s truly are my passion and joy. I don’t take this job lightly when it comes to the safety of your little one. Before pursuing a career in photography, I was a neonatal ICU nurse for many years. I’m meticulous and careful to ensure your infant is safe and comfortable as I pose and position in a variety of ways.

Newborn sessions center around all the love, the raw emotions, and the connections between you and your baby, allowing you to remember life just as it was when you look back through these photos.

Newborn sessions take place in my beautiful natural light studio space in downtown Wichita or in your home if you’d prefer. Parents and siblings are encouraged to be a part of these sessions. They keep things up-beat, fun and truly authentic.

I’ll capture the cuddles with mama, the tender kisses and love from siblings, and the way your tiny little one can fit into the palm of daddy’s hands. There’s nothing I love more than capturing all the newness that comes with a brand new baby. Parenthood is life’s greatest treasure and I’m sure to capture this stage in it’s entirety.

Included in a newborn session :

2-3 hour session in my downtown Wichita studio or the comfort of your own home
choice between a lifestyle documentary session in your home, my studio or a more posed session in my studio
Access to my client closet for mom, baby and siblings as well as props and all that is needed for baby
A gallery of 25 artistically retouched high resolution digital images and a print release

Studio Newborn Sessions

Mamas, bring me your baby, and I’ll do the rest.

Well, honestly pretty much.

I’m sitting in downtown Wichita with a beautiful studio loft ready to welcome you with open arms and create timeless pieces of art you’ll want to display across your home.

My studio is filled with gorgeous natural light and curated to suit a timeless yet whimsical boho feel.

I’ll provide all that’s needed for your little one’s wardrobe, as well as yourself. Spouses are easy to dress and that’s all you’ll need to coordinate.

In the studio you have options for how you’d like your session to flow.

If you’re wanting baby only photographed, we can make that happen with many different set-ups and props to provide you with a diverse and beautiful gallery of your little one.

If you’d like to combine a bit of the lifestyle documentary feel and include yourself or your family, we can make this happen as well.

Newborn sessions are directed towards exactly what you’re yearning to capture in those first few weeks of life.

Because trust me, time sure does fly by in the blink of an eye. And you’ll be grasping at time to bring back all those new baby smells and feels.

Home Lifestyle Newborn Sessions

In the comfort of your own home, we’ll let your story unfold and photograph this intimate time with your newest addition.

I love these laid back and tender moments that are documented here – typically in the nursery, master bedroom and living room.

I’m drawn to any pocket of natural light pouring into the room. Siblings and fur babies are encouraged to be a part of these sessions. They keep things up-beat, fun and truly authentic.

Very little posing will be done in- home, just gentle direction so your natural interactions and connections occur as they would if I weren’t there.

These artistically retouched images will be gorgeous to display in your home as well as in albums for you to flip though in the years ahead.
